Problem Statement: A 11th century monument was excavated at the Patan district in Gujarat which was recently recognized and announced as a UNESCO heritage site. The client was looking for a new way of not only documenting the site, but also to showcase the whole heritage site to the public in a view that only the architects of that master piece could see when they initially built it.

Solution: A detailed study of the location was made with the help of archaeologists. Every pillar and stone was analyzed, measured by hand, documented through photographs, which was then recreated in 3D to the exact dimension. It was then fabricated into a virtual walk-through which allowed an immersive experience of the monument. Today, this walk-through lets the public view spots that are restricted and even impossible for them to experience in real-time.
